Helen’s love for clay goes
back to her school days at Bedales in Hampshire. Since then, she has
worked with potters in Sheffield, Lincolnshire, London and Penzance.
Now Helen has
her own studio at her home in the stunning Cot Valley where she lives
and works, with her family and animals. Visitors are always warmly
welcomed.
The influences on Helen’s work are drawn from the environment,
reflecting the diversity and intensity of colour and shape unique
to West Penwith.
All Helen’s
pots are hand thrown and each one has a very strong purpose –
to be used and enjoyed.
The pottery can be found one mile from St. Just.
Take the B3306, direction Airport and Sennen. Turn right at Kelynack
Farm (sign Cot Manor). Follow single track road just over half a mile.
Sharp hill, just below Youth Hostel, white gates, sign Cot Manor.
