Jonathan Hancock opened the
St Just Pottery at his home in 2005. He was born and grew up in the
far West of Cornwall and initially studied studio pottery at the Redruth
School of Art in the early 1970’s. In 1990 he enrolled as a mature
student on the then newly formed Studio Ceramics degree course at
Harrow, now part of the University of Westminster, achieving an excellent
honours degree.
Most of his work is in high fired stoneware
though he does some earthenware. His expertise in glazes results in
some very unusual colours and textures. His output ranges from large
planters to all types of domestic ware and he is very happy to discuss
commissions.

Hours
Monday - Saturday 10am-5pm
Some Sundays in Summer 11pm-5pm
Other times by arrangement.
