Tom Henderson Smith's paintings draw inspiration from the festivals and people as well as from the natural forms and glowing light of this area. An interaction of shapes and rich colour variations within a wide range of different picture formats are characteristic of the way he celebrates his love of this landscape and culture.

Painter / printmaker Gabrielle Hawkes finds inspiration in the interplay between inner and outer landscapes, drawing upon dream, myth and personal symbolism as well as the coastal environment. Her vivid paintings are often moonlit, have a visionary quality to them and retain a dimension of humour and surprise. She also likes painting cats and is open to commissions.

Their work includes paintings, drawings, wood-engravings, screen prints, monoprints, cards and open edition prints from paintings.

You can be sure of finding a friendly welcome and both Tom and Gabrielle are happy to talk about their working processes.
