St Just-in-Penwith, the most westerly town of Cornwall, fronted along its magnificent coastline by the Atlantic and backed by rugged moorland, has long been the inspiration for artists and craftspeople, many of whom are achieving international status.

This website is produced to give you an interesting and varied tour around the galleries and studios of St Just. Each venue is unique and you will be surprised and delighted by the high quality and originality of the work the artists and makers produce.

A few years ago, a group of them formed Just Arts to promote their work. The studios and galleries taking part are described in this website. There are painters, sculptors, potters, illustrators, printmakers, stained glass designers, jewellers, textile artists and photographers all living and working in the town. They welcome you to sample the unique atmosphere that is St Just and discover the many studios, shops and galleries within walking distance of the large free car park in the centre of town.

Please be aware that many of the art and craft venues are run by just one person and while they all endeavour to have regular opening hours they may have to close at odd times for essentials like doctors appointments. It is advisable to phone first if you are making a special journey.
